Anthem of the Sun, ranked number 287 on Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Album’s of all time is the second album from Grateful Dead, originally released in 1968. Teaming up with Dave Hassinger once again the Dead were determined to record a more complicated work than their debut release. The material took on much more extended forms and essentially developed into just two sections.
