The celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of The Doors legendary first album, the surviving members of the band agreed to be interviewed for this special film.

Guitarist Robbie Krieger, drummer John Densmore and keyboard player Ray Manzarek talk in depth about the early days of the group, back when Jim Morrison was a film school student, their first rehearsals and how quickly Jim's outrageous behaviour impacted on the other members - though not without fondness, as Densmore explains: "Jim is always with us.".

All of the group share their personal favourite Doors tracks and how they came to be written and recorded. And although it may be 40 years since the world first heard that iconic opening organ riff on 'Light My Fire', as Krieger reveals, to them the time feels just like "A drop in a bucket".
